Summary

Gameplay: Fun for the whole family, really utilizing the Wii's controllers. From levels that have you performing traditional platforming (jumping, swimming, and climbing), to ones where you glide, to one Super Monkey Ball-like level, there's so much stuff you'll get packaged in this game.
Sound: The soundtrack perfectly fits each level and is varied enough to stay interesting. A lot of nice sound effects, too.
Visuals: Beautiful art design for a Wii title. Plain and simple.
Story: Nothing special, seeing how it's a Mario game, but that isn't really a problem at all.
Overall: An experience that you won't forget any time soon. Like most Mario games on a console, it's really spread out wide enough with each installment's release date, so you won't feel too bored of any repetition. Sunshine was a nice contrast to a lot of the Mario games, and this one succeeds in taking what made Mario so great in the first place, along with a bevy of new controls that expand on the traditional formula even more in ways that never fail to impress. If you own a Wii, this is one of the titles you should be playing.

I think we can all say this game was genius.

Summary

It's back, the ever popular Super Mario Galaxy game just got a brand new sequel that everybody is going crazy for. I have to admit, most sequels to old classics can turn out ugly. And even i was nervous about how this game was going to turn out, but I think we can all agree that this game really crossed it's T's and dotted it's I's in every aspect of the game. taking one look at this game you would think that it was going to be the same old game-play we've all done before, but when I first played this game i was immediately sucked into the amazing world of Mario. The creators obviously tried their hardest to make the game a different formula to Super Mario Galaxy 1, because we all know that if we don't get something that is new and different, yet classic and bold, we wont exactly rate the game as positively as it could be. And the creators thought of just that when making the game. they really put tons of effort into this game which just shows the more effort put in, the better the outcome. This game is also one that is challenging yet fun throughout the whole game, offering new and exiting obstacles, bosses, items and features to make the game highly addictive.

Not a Mario fan ? Don't worry

You will still love the game.

Summary

Although I was never a Mario fan, but this game is an exceptional. Without hesitation I give it the title of the best game I ever played in my life.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is highly addictive and never made me feel bored. I was just impressed how by genius the developers of this game are.

It has a lot of challenges and various difficulties for everyone. The stages are never repetitive and the bosses require critical thinking which gives it a lot of fun.

The graphic of Mario Galaxy 2 is quite colorful but very decent in an impressive way.

Although I've spent hours and hours playing this game, but when something is fun you never realize it hence I even felt sad when I beat the game.

I usually like to criticize the games I play but for this one I couldn't even find a con !

The game is worth every penny and I could even pay a $ 100 just to play this game and buying a Nintendo Wii console just to play this game, is never a mistake.

One of my top ten Mario games that should be in your collection.

Summary

Thank you for reading my review. I appreciate it. Super Mario Galaxy came out back in 2008. That game was great. Now, Super Mario Galaxy 2 came out May 23,2010. This game is incredible. And I'm about to tell you why.

Storyline: When you make your file in the beginning of the game, Princess Peach writes you a letter inviting you to her castle to see the fireworks. Shortly after you meet up with the various toads walking around, Bowser arrives and kidnaps Princess Peach. Throughout the game, and near the end of each world either Bowser or Bowser Jr. will appear. In World 1 you have to beat Bowser himself, in World 2 you have to beat Bowser Jr., World 3 is Bowser, and so on. In every stage you unlock, there are comet medals in the middle of the stage. This will let you get more stars by Prankster Comets and green stars. Green Stars can only be obtained if you have all 120 stars and you have defeated Bowser twice. Depending on if you obtain the comet medal after you've defeated Bowser, you have to defeat him 3 times. Altogether, you will have 240 stars at the end of the game.

Gameplay: The gameplay is fun. If you're easily into playing the stage and you haven't played it yet, then this game is for you. The gameplay isn't hard, or too easy. It's just right. Depending on each stage you encounter, the difficulty is different. There are multiple suits throughout the game. There's fire suit, a cloud suit, a ghost suit, etc. This game is also 2 player.

Graphics: The graphics are beautiful. One of the stages actually makes you hungry because of how good the graphics are (The stage contains food).

Overall: The game itself is great. It is still available in Target, Sears, Gamestop, and Walmart. This should be in your collection of wii games.

SMG2 a game that can't be missed. Not only is it a great sequel to its predecessor but also renews the genre

Summary

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is certainly one of the best games in the wii. It has the great gameplay from the Mario franchise, a soundtrack like no other game and is incredibly fun. The game gives new airs to the genre in the right amount. It sticks to the mechanics from its predecessor but shows enough innovations to be considered a great sequel.
The environment is vast. From underwater worlds to spaceships, SMG2 is just beautiful. The game offers the player entertainment for hours along, with a level of challenge that is just right.
There isn't a much of a replay potential, but it keeps the player busy for a long time as well as satisfied when the end comes. But it doesn't end when the last boss fight comes. To gather all the stars and finish the game 100% requires a lot of dedication.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great sequel to an already great game and is certainly a must for anyone, be it a fan of the series or not.
